The top folds flat and fits right over the bottom. I think that the difference in brightness is well worth it and I think that you'll thank yourself later for delaying some gratification.You can take all your favorite video games with you on the go with this Game Boy Advance SP. With that being said, if you have the option to wait and save up a bit, I think you can find an SP 101 for $100 + tax (try to find one with free shipping). I think that the 001 would be fine if you're just looking for something that works well enough without killing the experience for you. Lastly make sure it comes with a charger! Don't settle. In some cases sellers on eBay allow "or best offer" and you could try to get a few bucks shaved off (my experience is that they won't go under $10 of their asking price) so start at $10 and go from there. I was able to get mine with a charger in good condition and with free shipping for $100 + tax.įurthermore if you are using eBay inspect all pics and don't be afraid to ask the seller for additional pictures or questions you have. From a quick search on eBay I found that the SP 101 runs around $100-$120 (anything over that isn't worth it if you're tight on money).
